LearnerShape is proud to announce the release of the proof-of-concept version of LearnerShape SkillsGraph, a standards-based, open-source protocol and application for authentication of any skill or credential on blockchain. SkillsGraph is initially built on the Cardano blockchain using Cardano’s Atala PRISM technology, and we plan interoperability with other blockchains.
The components of SkillsGraph being released today are:
As we announced late last year, development of SkillsGraph has been funded by Cardano Project Catalyst, which has also funded two pilots of SkillsGraph in the Cardano community and with global certification company PeopleCert (registration required to view these project proposals). The first pilot is attracting strong community interest, and the second is just getting started.
We have big ideas for the future of SkillsGraph and how it can provide an open-source alternative for communicating personal skills information. Please try out SkillsGraph, and get in touch if you have questions or would like to join the effort.
